Deux de mes images reçoivent cette année une mention honorable dont une dans la catégorie Sport 😉 (c’est assez rare pour le souligner)
Et donc voici l’image du tour de France primée.

J’ai le plaisir de vous annoncer que je viens de troquer ma casquette de « Poulidor » des awards internationaux de photographies pour le « zoli maillot zaune » d’Anquetil. J’ai le bonheur de voir ma série d’images sur la fabrication des nouvelles cloches de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris recevoir la première place de la catégorie » Editorial and Documentary » des Pollux Awards, grand prix annuel des fameux « Worlwide Photography Gala Awards ».
Merci à toute l’équipe de la fonderie Cornille-Havard, avec une pensée spéciale pour Paul Bergamo.
Pensées pour Virginie Bassetti, sculpteur, qui a réalisé les décors de la série de cloches, et aux deux équipes de Notre-Dame et du Jubilé. MERCI à tous. Une exposition rassemblant le travail des gagnant du prix aura lieu en fin d’année au musée de Malaga.

ABOUT Winner:
Vincent M. est né en 1972 à Vire. Photographe-auteur, il a découvert lors de sa formation aux Beaux-Arts la photographie qu’il pratique depuis lors. Parallèlement à un travail plus ancien sur les lumières du bocage normand, il se consacre depuis plusieurs années à restituer à travers des prises de vue aériennes, faites le plus souvent à l’aube, les ambiances et lumières de la baie du Mont Saint-Michel, pour qui il nourrit une vraie passion. Son œuvre est présentée par deux importantes agences : l’Agence Altitude et l’Agence Bios.

Cela fait toujours plaisir de voir qu’il arrive de belles choses à nos images. Là c’est la joie de découvrir deux de mes images nominées pour 2013. Evidement et même si je finissais premier, ce qui n’est pas le cas, cela ne donne pas la grosse tête mais c’est encourageant lorsque nos photographies resssortent comme cela dans les préselections de concours important. Cette fois il y avait je crois des photographes de 86 pays en lice… Quelques images du Mont pour faire hip hip hip la normandie cela fait du bien…

The live online ceremony webcast Saturday, February 16, 2013 was attended by photography fans in 86 countries who logged on to see the climax of the industry’s most important event for color photography.
